  001.   ERP. In no way, shape or form will I participate in any sensual / sexual roleplay. Not only am I a minor, but so are the characters. There will never be a time where I am comfortable roleplaying pasting kissing / cuddling. I do not condone nor support ERP with minor based characters, aged up-- or not. MHA is a show for children, and while it can be enjoyed within a variety of age groups, I firmly believe that no person should ever write sexual / explicit materials with characters that were not adults when the show was aired. MHA in its entirety revolved around their childhood, they are children. Do not ask me, do not speak to me about it.  002.   SHIPS. While I am open to a variety of ships, I do have preferences (as I feel every writer does!) As of right now, I am still exploring with ships for Shouta, and I am available for a variety of different ones, don't be afraid to ask! I enjoy playing around with new things and switching up things a ton. I hate the same repetitive thing over and over again-- so my ships vary from near and far depending on the server! Know that I will not do any illegal/pro ships, nor do I support such ideas.  003.   SHIP PREF. This is more of a personal, oorp thing rather than an irp preference. While I am comfortable roleplaying fake ships with those over the age of 18, I am not comfortable with having ships with those over the age of 20. This is a personal preference. While I am mature enough to understand that this is all writing-- I feel as if there is a certain level of comfortability and compatibility that needs to be established with a person you are writing with. Again, this is a personal comfort thing. I would prefer if the person I am writing with ( when it comes to ships ) is within my age range! I am available to talk about this topic, though!

  004.   Literacy. My literacy varies greatly dependent on the prompt and the other writers levels. While I comfortably fluctuate between literate and novella, I am open to a wide range of levels, and I don't judge new writers! I am still learning new things about writing everyday, and I would love to be able to be an influence / tester for those who are learning to write longer / more literate writings! If you want to test out literate, but mid scene-- no longer want to write that, that's fine! We can switch to a semi-literate. Whatever is most comfortable for the other writer.  005.   Plots. I love exploring new ideas. While I am not the greatest at coming up with idea's for rp's, I do love to listen. I enjoy combat roleplays-- I also enjoy simple interaction roleplays. However I do 'specialize' in more angsty, emotional roleplays. Please do not assume I mean sad roleplays when I say 'emotional' or 'angsty'. While I do love sad roleplay's from time to time, I also like to experiment with writing about other emotions. For example extreme anger, passion, love and of course happiness. However, again, I love all types! Just let me know what you have in mind!  006.   Language. Shouta Aizawa can be .. a harsh character when portrayed correctly. He is sensible yet has his demeaning tendencies. If I say something over the top-- or something that you feel is too personal for your liking, please make me aware. I will correct myself, and apologize. Please know that nothing I say in roleplay correlates to how I feel about you, or your character out of roleplay. I would never use my characters to demean or harm a person through emotional manipulation in my writing. Know that this is all writing, and the way my characters feel is not the way I feel.

  004.   Pings/Dm's. I am completely fine with pings & dm's! Feel free to ping me once you respond to an RP, or when you generally just have a question. Or anytime at all. I don't bite, I don't care about spam pings, and you can DM me randomly. I will accept friend requests and I enjoy yapping vc's and things along those lines. Feel free to spew your interests in my dms, or come to me if you need anything. Genuinely, I am here to listen if you have some master idea and you want to share it to someone! I always enjoy making new friends, and chatting in general.  005.   DM RP'S. I am not comfortable with doing DM roleplays. This is just a personal preference, and it is simply because I believe I would find the situation in itself awkward, and I feel it is something I believe I would not enjoy. Please do not even ask about it, it will save me less time & stress if I don't have to explain the entire thing. I also will not do an RP outside of servers (ex. amino, twitter.. )  006.   Carrd. This carrd has a ton of information on it, so while I will not reform it to fit into a specific servers standards, I will send other links if more information is necessary. If you are looking at this, and anything on here is blatantly incorrect, please tell me so I can correct it. If you would like this template, dm me and I will show you where to get it! Otherwise, I hope you like it! Again, I will NOT change this carrd to conform to a specific servers guidelines, I will simply provide the extra / changed information within the server itself.

PERSONALITY. Stoic and strong, he's well known for his 'no-nonsense' personality. Practically unable to sugar-coat the truth, Aizawa faces the facts, and will push the harsh realities on those reluctant to accept them. Aizawa feels that despite the 'superhuman' society they live within, each individual in this society is still human, and death is always a possibility. Despite that, he has a sense of unwavering justice, though caustic and stubborn externally-- Shouta will go to great lengths to protect his values. He will continue to actuate those following his lead, regardless of the hardships he may have to face, there is no career choice Shouta would rather have, truthfully.Aizawa ameliorates his students through tough-love and hands on practicality training rather than common themed desk work. While his training methods have been questioned before, Shouta has no doubts within his training, only within the drive of his students. Externally, Shouta is hard, especially through training, not a force to be reckoned with or questioned, yet internally Shouta's training is not solely to 'toughen' up his students, rather to give them a glimpse at the everyday activities a hero may have to go through. His students have gone through a lot, and so has he to say the least. Yet his passion still burns, and Shouta will continue to teach the generations of heroes to come as long as he has a position at UA. He's audacious yet austere, his methods outdated yet effective. There are so many aspects that go within his teaching career, his drive may come from the desire to protect, potentially deriving from his past, and his inability to protect Shirakumo.

Shouta is analytical and careful. He pushes himself, and everybody around him to be the best they can be. Aizawa is a staple within the classroom, some look up to him, some fear him-- either way, no matter the way he acts, everybody recognizes his authority, and what he does for society. Behind closed doors, however-- Shouta is reserved. He can tolerate his peers to a certain point, until he cannot. He finds fault in society and belittles himself for not putting more effort into the betterment. Shouta wishes he could push himself out there more as a catalyst, yet his hatred for the spotlight always ends up getting in the way. Eyes burn through him, and his anxiety skyrockets.But. It's not solely anxiety, it's also just plain deference. Shouta does not care for recognition, not even for his acts. He is not a hero for the attention, he is a hero for the people. He does it for his students, for his friends, for the people. There is not an ounce within him that wishes to be displayed on national television as they play a clip of him saving a bystander. It pulsates guilt through his veins. Sure, recognition for a hero can be an uplifting thing, but it also inspires upcoming heroes to do their jobs solely for the attention, and that is not the type of influence Shouta ever wishes to be. He would rather have that self recognizing moments, by himself-- in his room. There is no better feeling for him than a long shower, clean sheets, and a comfy bed after saving lives. That is his payout, enjoying doing what he is doing. And being able to teach while doing it.

Shouta has a long way to go in the terms of self-discvoery. While Hizashi is a staple in that motivation, Shouta can be a hard shell to crack. We see his determination, and we acknowledge the fact that he has a harsh backstory, but a lot fail to dive deeper into his personality. Shouta isn't just the scary, or 'secretly' passionate teacher from UA, Shouta is chary, wary of the things he does yet still pursues regardless if it is in good intent, he can be churlish yet still motivational towards those who look up upon him. He's diffident, not easily distinguishable, he conflicts himself easily and has no means to a heartfelt discussion. Heavily opinionated, his passion externally is questionable yet the fire for teaching and rescue burns deep within him, in a place those around him rarely get to see.Shouta will continue to edify his students, and be a secretive, motivational pillar they can rely on. There is a bond that cannot be broken between him and his students, even the harshest ones. He recognizes each individuals powers, and does not question their worth solely based on the way they interact with the world, or vice versa. He is the epitome of what a teacher should be, and there is no doubt in my mind Shouta Aizawa has inspired generations of heroes to become what they are today, the lessons he teaches instill an understanding in those who listen, and he truly is such an insightful man.

  1. headcanons. mdd / insomniac we've seen a lot of times where shouta has issues expression himself, there is no doubt he struggles with depression and insomnia. while this being a 'headcanon' may be controversial, i like to include it as one since it is not specifically stated in the show. there has been a lot of trauma in his life, and as reserved as he is, i wouldn't doubt him struggling with major depressive disorder.

  2. texting. shouta sucks at texting, he doesn't understand slang, he doesn't understand emojis. but he will write an essay as a response to a dm, he will give you three paragraphs and a conclusion if you ask him a simple question, no doubt about it. he thinks texting is like sending emails, ( it's not. )

  3. drums. shouta definitely plays the drums in his free time secretly, while he does hate super large crowds and loud scenes, drums he can get behind, especially to let out pent up emotions.

  1. collecting. aizawa actually collects a lot of the stuff his students give him, while his dorm is spotless, there is a corner in his room of all the gifts and images people like eri have given him. he savors each one, and while when receiving them he may be stone eyes, he internally loves it, i swaer.

  2. physical touch while in the anime, shouta realistically hates physical touch, it is my personal headcanon that he actually doesn't, he just doesn't let a lot of people touch him for personal reasons. for some odd reason, physical touch makes him cringe, like he wants to die inside. however, this is only for specific people. For example, if shouta would to get into a romantic relationship, he would be all over them-- however, if they are just friends, or family, he will not let him touch them. He hates it.

  3. sweets. shouta hates sweet things. he hates desserts, and hates anything that remotely tastes like sugar. he's the type of guy to buy zero sugar soda, or zero sugar gum. he will buy all of the protein in the store, and make delicious, yet probably burnt homemade meals later on.

background.

GROWING UP. shouta discovered his power at a young age, no doubt about it. his power wasn't specifically like all the others, it was something like in a horror movie, a paralyzing, bloodsucking power that took away ones abilities. this troubled him for a lot of his childhood, he had fears entering school that there would be judgement amongst his peers, and there was. still, aizawa was stubborn-- he wouldn't allow these judgements to interfere with his passions, his drive to become a hero was too strong, and it would not falter for some measly kindergarteners that liked to call him a vampire from his red eyes.so he progressed, middle school came and went, and he quickly set his vision in mind. being a hero was truly-- like all little kids, all he ever wanted. while there were times of self doubt, shouta was too driven to be set back by his own thoughts. he developed a pragmatic approach to heroism, and soon his highschool years arrived. he was anxiety ridden, reserved, quiet. he didn't appreciate people in his space, nor did he appreciate people varying from his opinion. UA was a place shouta thought he would absolutely despise .. and he wasn't completely wrong.soon into his 1-A years, shouta was bugged by a few .. more inclusive scoundrels soon came to adhere stubbornly to his side. oboro shirakumo closely monitored shouta's behavior, and soon crept his way into shouta's life. there was no denying shouta was reluctant to accept others within his own little circle, and truly, they never were really within his circle-- up until oboro introcuded shouta to hizashi yamada, a staple figure that would further down the road become an unwavering nostalgic comfort. as the three began to learn eachother more and progress their friendships, aspirations started to float, and the future began to look a little bit clearer for shouta. with these two by his side, still-- even if he was reluctant, he knew that these two were his best bet at allies within the hero world. he would need shoulders to rely on, and they would always be there for him.that was until a tragic accident removed oboro shirakumo from shouta's life. oboro's death heavily affected shouta's determination, clouded clarity began to override the clear view of his future he thought he had when oboro was alive, and he pushed just about everyone away, even hizashi. he did not want to accept the accident, he did not want to accept that he was not witty, or quick enough to save shirakumo, denial flooded the divits within his brain like a river of overwhelming emotions for years on end, and even now as he progresses through his career, there is still an outstanding effect of oboro's death. whether it pushes shouta to further protect his students, or drove him further into his heroics, oboro is not a name shouta will ever forget.

quirk description.

ERASURE. A strong, unique ability enabling the user to temporarily erase the powers of individuals in his sight. When activated, the other user is no longer able to manifest their quirk in any way shape or form as long as Shota is able to maintain a stable, even half-lidded ‘eye-open’. His quirk is versatile, effective in quick situations where there’s not a lot of room for mistakes. He is a less well known, but formidable opponent, especially towards more quirk reliant individuals he faces. However, once Aizawa blinks, ( his eyes close completely ) the user is again able to manifest their quirk as before, everything returns to normal without any damage to the other quirk.
Through extreme physical conditioning and training, Shota has mastered his quirk. The strain of keeping his eyes open however can cause fatigue, and strain on his eyes. This limits the duration he is able to manifest his quirk. Aizawa was forced to develop a unique, stealth-like fighting style, focusing on his timing and precision with his movements, and usage of his quirk. He is able to easily outmaneuver less-experienced opponents, and uses his costume’s additions to his advantage! He is a skilled, strategic fighter with various moves and abilities.
By using his ability, Aizawa is able to not only effectively take on opponents, but use it on his students in various situations as well. Coming in handy in a multitude of situations, Aizawa takes advantage of his powerful quirk without boasting about it too much,
ULTIMATE MOVES.
Binding Cloth Using the equipment listed below, Shouta uses his cloth to immobilize his opponents through quick and witty tie-ups that lead to their defeat. He also has the ability to grab nearby objects to his advantage, though this is only to the extent of the cloths length.
EQUIPMENT.
Cloth Made from steel wire alloy, this cloth is both waterproof, fireproof and unable to be split in half. It is woven with carbon nanofibers that make it like an infinite scarf.
Goggles. These goggles are used to confuse the enemies, they further enhance his quirk by making the enemies question, and unable to know who Shouta is looking at, or who's quirk has been erased.

appearance.

LOOKS.
Shouta holds a taller forwardly masculine frame with broad shoulders and pale cracked skin. Scattered scars align the widths of his arms and his dry knuckles are hued with a pink undertone. Aizawa’s volumized; black hair is just past shoulder length, he has one split section in the middle of his forehead that falls across his broad nose. Shouta’s eye sockets are deeper within his face, his bushy black eyebrows overgrown and prominent red and black under circles have made a permanent appearance on his face. While Shouta’s hero uniform consists of two other colors, the primary colors you will find him in are black and or deep grey. He cares not for his appearance, and that can definitely be seen just by looking at him.
His hero costume is much like his everyday wear, and there is no much diversity within the colors he chooses. Shouta will mostly be seen wearing his scarf, and only sometimes his goggles, it truly does depend on the day.

  HIZASHI YAMADA
*Heavily Affiliated.    There is no denying Hizashi is Shouta's closest relation. Through highschool before the attack, Hizashi would always make effort to include Shouta, even if he was reluctant to be included in the first place. Hizashi had always been a pillar to lean on.. and those feelings..(???) After Oboro's death, Shouta pushed everyone away, even Hizashi. Guilt had ridden his cognizance, and despite Hizashi's efforts he just could not get through to Shouta. Aizawa still has guilt from the years he ignored Yamada's pursuing efforts, truly all he wanted to do was help, yet Aizawa had such an independent mindset that he could not accept help, not from Hizashi, not anyone.
There are still sparks there, sometimes, that is. While Shouta somewhat denies his sexuality, he also questions himself around Hizashi. How could someone so bright like Hizashi let himself be dimmed by someone like Shouta? So he'll keep that to himself.

  NEMURAI KAYAMA
Friend.    It's a learning experience for both of them, to see Aizawa letting someone in isn't a common occurrence. Nem makes her debut as Aizawa's friend every once in a while, it's a distant cousin bond.
  TOSHINORI YAGI
Friend.    While they can butt heads every once in a while, they both have pure intentions. They only want to see their students succeed.
  KATSUKI BAKUGOU
Student.    Another learning experience for the both of them. Having to deal with such an arrogant child wasn't in Aizawas agenda, but he has faith.
  SHOTO TODOROKI
Student.    Both not talkers, but Aizawa makes sure to check up on him every once in a while.

  IZUKU MIDORIYA
Student.    His most enthusiastic and heroic child, Izuku can get on his nerves a lot, but he knows he has pure intentions. He reminds him a lot of Shirakumo.
  OCHACO URARAKA
Student.    Shouta doesn't have favorites, but Ochaco definetly is a favorable student. She doesn't talk over him, she's sweet-- and makes really good cookies. He approves.
  TOKOYAMI FUMIKAGE
Student.    Again, they both aren't chatterboxes, but Shouta sees a ton of potential from this student. His drive and hunger along with the strength of his quirk.. he's gonna be a good hero.
  TOUYA TODOROKI
Enemy.    Genuinely wishes death upon this guy.
